Lofty Asset Management was founded in 2014 by Lisa A. Massis, a native of Jacksonville Florida and an accomplished Property Manager. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked with both local and national Management and Investment firms across the U.S., covering nearly every type of multi-family assets, from single community new construction to regional multi-community value-add repositions.
Through her vast experiences, Lisa understands success in Property & Asset Management is a direct result of building relationships and aligning opportunities to the best person(s) for that role or responsibility. Creative solutions emerge from well-built teams, leveraging both relationships and resources.

Pre-Asset Evaluation and Due Diligence are the cornerstones of our process—this is where we assess each community’s physical condition and market potential then begin to chart the path forward. Good data in, good data out. Evaluating an asset is as much about understanding physical conditions as it is about analyzing market dynamics and revenue potential. One cannot succeed without the other—and both require foresight, preparation, and precision.
In our first few years Lofty went to work evaluating 40-60 deals a year, with a dozen getting to due diligence and three-quarters of those closing. With every deal, we refined and enhanced our Due Diligence process. Once a deal closes, capital deployment begins—an entirely new challenge requiring precise alignment of scopes, contracts, logistics, and standards.

To meet capital schedules on time and within budget, Lofty negotiates with smaller, reputable service providers, with healthy companies that maintain low overhead but cannot afford the cash-flow delays of multi-family. Lofty ensures a thirty-day net payment cycle on all services and leverages the property’s supply accounts to furnish materials to lighten the financial burden on the vendor, who in return provides a thirty-plus percent discount on a labor-only contract. Consistently driving significant savings across multiple capital lines is well worth the effort. It’s one of the core reasons Lofty stands out as an industry leader in capital deployment.
