Founder & President

Lisa Massis, a native of Jacksonville, FL, with over twenty-five years in multi-family operations, managing assets large and small, for investment groups near and far, from new construction lease ups to hard down value-add reconstructs, coast to coast, across most asset types – Student, LIHTC, HUD, Military, Conventional, lease-up, and bank owned.

Since its founding, Lofty has led high-performing teams and managed thriving communities across Florida and southern Georgia. Lisa fosters a culture of ownership and innovation, empowering her teams to challenge operational norms and continuously refine both process and outcome. Her ability to read and anticipate market conditions, prepared with a deep understanding of construction, has enabled her to identify high-growth assets and strategically deploy capital ahead of demand. This forward-thinking, data-driven approach has been the cornerstone of her long-term success and Lofty’s continued growth.

Michael Holmes

Chief Financial Officer

Michael Holmes, a Tampa native, holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. During his college years, he was an active member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, where he served on the executive board as Finance Chair and Treasurer. He also gained early exposure to real estate through internships focused on data collection and analysis for commercial and multi-family property appraisals.

Michael brings hands-on experience as an independent investor in apartment properties and holds a Florida Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) accreditation. Since joining Lofty in 2013, he has played a pivotal role in developing and refining the company’s financial systems and accounting practices.

Today, Michael oversees Lofty’s accounting team, software platforms, reconciliations, reporting, auditing, and real estate asset management. He also leads efforts in land valuation, procurement, pro forma evaluation, and underwriting. His deep expertise in real estate operations and financial strategy has significantly enhanced Lofty’s operational efficiency and positioned the company for sustainable, next-generation growth.

Jamey Rapp

Vice President of Administration

Jamey Rapp, originally from Cincinnati, OH, brings a well-rounded blend of educational and professional experience to his role at Lofty. He began his academic journey studying Business Administration at Northern Kentucky University, later earning an associate degree in Business and General Administration from Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Jamey’s career began in the banking and wealth management sector, where he gained valuable experience working with prominent multinational financial institutions across the U.S. In 2010, he transitioned into property management as a leasing consultant—and quickly advanced through the ranks of the multi-family industry.

Since joining Lofty in 2014, Jamey has played a key role in the company’s operations. He oversees human resources and payroll, ensures compliance with lender requirements, and manages insurance and property-related regulations. His deep expertise in multi-family housing and real estate investments has been instrumental in optimizing Lofty’s administrative systems and operational workflows.

A consistent contributor to the company’s growth, Jamey’s commitment to excellence continues to enhance Lofty’s overall effectiveness and long-term success.

Senior Accounting Manager

Christie, a Jacksonville native, brings over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and purchasing, with a diverse background spanning wholesale and retail distribution, construction, and project management. She joined Lofty in 2017, bringing her financial acumen to support the company’s growing multi-family portfolio. Christine played a pivotal role in building and scaling the accounting department as Lofty expanded and acquired new assets.

Throughout her tenure, Christine has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and adaptability, taking on responsibilities beyond traditional accounting. Her work includes vendor negotiation and relationship management, launching resident-facing products and applications, overseeing data systems, and providing accounting training and support to on-site teams.

Her expertise and dedication have been instrumental in maximizing revenue, strengthening financial processes, and driving the efficiency and growth of both the accounting department and the company as a whole.

Patricia Hatch

Real Estate Broker and Director of Quality Assurance

Patricia Hatch, originally from Richmond, VA, has over 40 years of experience, starting her career in healthcare information technology before transitioning to the real estate industry in 2008 when she relocated to Florida and became a licensed Florida real estate broker.

Since joining Lofty in 2016, Patricia has been instrumental in overseeing real estate operations with a strong focus on legal compliance, quality assurance, and operational integrity. She plays a critical role in ensuring that Lofty adheres to all relevant building codes, landlord-tenant laws, and regulatory standards, safeguarding the company’s interests and mitigating potential risks.

In addition to her real estate compliance work, Patricia is actively involved in overseeing quality assurance processes, ensuring that all company practices meet the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and regulatory adherence.

Patricia’s commitment to legal compliance, quality assurance, and community involvement makes her a key asset to Lofty, contributing to the company’s ongoing success in delivering high-quality housing and upholding the highest standards in all aspects of its operations.

Shayan Nasheri

Regional Maintenance Manager

Shayan Nasheri came to the US in 2008 seeking a better life and opportunities to advance his future. Upon arriving Shayan immediately went to work, utilizing his limited mechanical knowledge but willingness to learn and work hard.

In 2014, Shayan completed a 12-month program at Tulsa Welding School including HVAC, residential wiring, commercial wiring, and solar systems. Upon graduation, Shayan connected with a staffing agency to begin seeking an industry with a consistent demand for his expertise. He was quickly placed with a property management company providing HVAC services and he began learning the art of apartment turns and by 2017, he was a supervisor.

In late 2020 his community sold and Lofty took over management operations.  It didn’t take long for Lofty to realize the tremendous value Shayan brought to the community and to the bottom line. In 2024, Lofty promoted Shayan to Regional Maintenance Manager, where he now oversees all maintenance personnel, preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, maintenance and turn budgets, and management of Lofty’s preferred parts and inventory. Since stepping into the role, Shayan has proven himself to be a take-charge leader, known for creative solutions and a willingness to roll up his sleeves to get the job done right. He brings tremendous value and expertise to every Lofty community—enhancing curb appeal, elevating the resident experience, and delivering real cost savings.

– Owned women’s better priced evening wear company for 35 years.

– In addition to running the company was solely responsible for all production in the company owned factory in HongKong

– In charge of national sales through trade shows throughout the US ( Dallas, Chicago, California and New York Showroom)

– Coordinated the purchase of all garment production materials throughout the world

– Handled all freight logistics for the importing of the garments

– 2010 left the apparel company to focus on real estate

– Purchased first multi family in 2013 in Highland Heights, KY. Sold it in 2016

– In 2017 purchased a 96 unit and 104 unit multi family property in Jacksonville. Sold both in 2019.

– in 2019- bought 158 unit multi family in Tallahassee. Property in contract to sell in June 2022

– All properties achieved a return in excess of 50%

  • Joe worked on Wall street in various trading support and operational roles for over 30years.
  • For 15 years he ran a division that provided Office space for Hedge Fund clients, including space acquisition, construction, Leasing and management.
  • He started a single family rental business in 2010 where he owned and rented six properties in Melbourne Fl.
  • In 2011 he started a multifamily business purchasing three Jacksonville apartment complexes and sold them recently.
  • He provides New Business Development and and Managed High level Clients of a Jame E Fitzgerald – a Mid sized construction firm in NYC. His clients include JP Morgan Chase, Verizon, National Grid.
  • He currently has a multifamily property in Talahasse, FL
  • Joe is married to Mary and has two sons – Tom and Kyle, who are married (Chelsea and Lauren) and recently had
  • his first grandchild.
